1)IAF carries out maritime drill.
Drill on the western seaboard to check its deep strike capability in the Indian Ocean Region and beyond, part of a two-week-long mega combat exercise, Gaganshakti.
2)L&T, BEL Ink MoU for Defence Products.
To indigenize the defence sector under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) signed an MoU to cater to the needs of evolving domestic and export markets for defence products and systems.
3)NPCIL & NSDC Signed a MoU.
The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed an MoU with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to provide skill training to 500 youth and women at Kudankulam in Tamil Nadu.
4)PNB Launches Products to Mark Foundation Day
State-run Punjab National Bank (PNB) launched new products such as pre-approved credit card and UPI solution to mark its 124th foundation day.

◆Manik Batra won India’s first-ever gold medal in the Women’s singles event in Table Tennis.
◆Neeraj Chopra won India’s first-ever gold medal in the Javelin Throw.
